BIST School Bus Service

BIST offers a bus service for students on our school buses which are specifically designed for students and meet strict safety standards. Our fleet of BIST buses have between 10 and 30 seats and are equipped with individual seat belts, seats with solid backrests, emergency exits, firefighting devices, first aid kits, 360 degree mirror for the driver and a GPS monitoring system.

Annual fee for the bus service

This is based on geographical location. The routes that cover central Tbilisi, Vake, Saburtalo and Dighomi are US$1100 per year. Routes beyond these locations which include Didi Dighomi are US$1600 per year. After registration for the bus service, you will be contacted by our administration team about the pick up / drop off times and locations and an invoice. Please note that after making the payment, in case of refusal, money would not be refunded.

Timing for the transport service

In the mornings, buses will start to pick-up students from predefined locations approximately at 7.45am. The exact pick-up time depends on the location. In the afternoons, buses will leave from the school at 3.35pm or 4.35pm, after finishing the after school activities. Parents will receive a specific time for pick and drop off at their location. Buses have a tracking system so that parents can see the location of the bus at any given time during the journey to or from school. All buses have a designated bus assistant with a mobile telephone number that is shared with the parents.
