Iliauni Science Picnic 2024

The British International School of Tbilisi (BIST) once again made a splash at the annual Iliauni Science Picnic, held on Saturday, September 28th. The event, which aims to popularize science among visitors of all ages, featured a wide range of engaging scientific demonstrations and experiments.

BIST’s science team, comprised of students and staff, showcased a variety of captivating experiments, including the ever-popular Van de Graaf Generator, as well as Collapsing Cans, Non-Newtonian Fluids, Flame Tests, and Colorful Reactions. The BIST stall was a hub of activity, attracting hundreds of visitors eager to witness these fascinating demonstrations and participate in hands-on experiments.

Experiment participants were rewarded with small, memorable gifts as a token of appreciation for their involvement.
