Black Sea Games

The BIST campus recently played host to a thrilling display of athleticism as the Key Stage 3 Black Sea Games unfolded  This annual event saw student teams from BES Ankara, MEF Istanbul, BIST, and BGA come together for a weekend of spirited competition in football, basketball, and volleyball.

This year BGA secured the coveted overall championship title for the first time. BIST demonstrated exceptional strength as well, with BIST Team 1 claiming gold medals in both the boys’ basketball and mixed volleyball categories. BIST Team 2 further solidified the school’s impressive showing with a commendable fourth-place finish.

Warmest congratulations to all the athletes who participated in the Black Sea Games. Their commitment to athletic excellence, sportsmanship, and competitive spirit were truly inspiring. We also extend our sincere gratitude to the supportive students and staff whose dedication played a vital role in making the event a resounding success.
