Grand Opening

Last Wednesday evening marked a momentous occasion for the entire BIST community as we celebrated the official opening of our new school building. Parents, staff, and friends of BIST gathered to commemorate this significant milestone, and the event was nothing short of spectacular.

While we’ve been fortunate to use the new building for lessons over the past few months, the finishing touches were only recently completed, making last week’s event a moment of great pride for everyone involved. The school has seen a remarkable transformation with the addition of state-of-the-art facilities, including a magnificent theatre and a cutting-edge recording studio.

The highlight of the evening was the presence of our distinguished guest of honor, His Excellency, Mr. Mark Clayton, the British Ambassador to Georgia. Ambassador Clayton had the honor of cutting the ribbon and officially inaugurating our new building. His presence added an extra layer of significance to this memorable evening.

Throughout the event, parents and guests were treated to an impressive showcase of student-led activities and displays, spanning various fields of study. Our talented students demonstrated their skills and creativity through captivating exhibits in Art, Computing, Drama, Music, and Science.

In the Art department, breathtaking artworks adorned the walls, showcasing the artistic talents of our students, while the Computing section featured interactive displays highlighting the innovation and technological prowess of our young minds. The Drama performances were nothing short of outstanding, with students delivering captivating scenes that left the audience in awe.

The Music segment delighted attendees with melodic tunes and harmonious compositions, showcasing the musical talents nurtured at BIST. The Science exhibits were equally captivating, with students presenting fascinating experiments and discoveries that underscored our commitment to fostering scientific curiosity.
