Food drive
Within the BIST Community Outreach Programme, our students have collected food for 16 families in the Martkopi Refugee and Asylum Centre. The refugees and asylum seekers are from all over the world. The majority are from Ukraine and other war-torn countries. The BIST community invites everyone to join us in spreading love and kindness, especially now, during Christmas time.
The BIST Community Outreach Programme has recently undertaken a project to collect food for 16 families living in the Martkopi Refugee and Asylum Centre. These families, hailing from a variety of countries including Ukraine and other conflict-affected regions, are in need of support and assistance.
As Christmas approaches, the BIST community extends a warm invitation to all members of the school and wider community to join us in spreading love and kindness to these families. This small act of generosity can make a big difference in the lives of those who are seeking refuge and a better future.
At BIST, we believe that it is important to give back to our community and to help those in need. We encourage everyone to consider getting involved in similar outreach efforts, whether it be through donating food or other essential items, volunteering time and skills, or simply offering a word of support and encouragement.
Together, we can make a positive impact on the lives of those around us and create a more compassionate and inclusive society.
