Overview
Our aim is to equip learners with the essential knowledge, skills and expertise they need to realise their full academic and personal potential, and to succeed in work and life in the increasingly dynamic 21st century through providing a comprehensive and engaging international education to every child in a stimulating and caring environment. This includes the development of academic subject knowledge and understanding, as well as developing intellectual, personal, social, emotional and physical skills. Our curriculum is organised so that the children are challenged and inspired to develop as individuals, and are empowered to achieve success in the fast-changing modern world.
Our comprehensive and rigorous curriculum meets or exceeds the requirements of the new National Curriculum for England. It is built on the best of global and UK standards, and features:
- Cambridge International programmes and qualifications including Cambridge Primary, Cambridge Secondary 1, IGCSE and A Levels
- International Early Years and Primary Curricula
- coverage of the English and Welsh National Curriculum
Cambridge Programmes are designed for international schools. They take students on a journey from Cambridge Primary through to IGCSE and AS/A Level. Cambridge qualifications are recognised by the world’s best universities and employers, giving students a wide range of options in their future. With a Cambridge programme, your child is joining a learning community of more than 10,000 schools in over 170 countries.
The needs of the learner are at the heart of the Cambridge approach. The programmes prepare students for life, helping them develop curiosity and a lasting passion for learning. They are designed with the 5 Cambridge learner attributes in mind – supporting students to become confident, responsible, reflective, innovative and engaged. Developing these attitudes and life skills as well as academic skills is the focus for all our learners.
International Early Years Curriculum (IEYC) is a research-based curriculum that covers all subject areas and supports key areas of learning through approaches that are holistic, enquiry-led and play-based.
The International Primary Curriculum (IPC) is a comprehensive and creative curriculum, with a clear process of learning and with specific learning goals for every subject, international mindedness, and personal learning.
