Admissions Officer

British-Georgian Academy and British International School of Tbilisi are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual to join our admissions team as an Admissions officer. The Admissions officer will play a crucial role in facilitating the admissions process and maintaining effective communication with prospective parents and students. This position requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a customer-oriented approach.

Key Responsibilities:

Communication and Engagement:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for prospective parents, providing information on admissions procedures, school programs, and facilities.
  • Follow up from inquiries and draw them to visit the schools. 
  • Schedule and conduct school tours, interviews, and informational sessions to showcase our schools to potential students and their families.
  • Maintain regular communication with prospective parents via phone, email, and in-person meetings to address inquiries and provide updates on the admissions process.

Data Management:

  • Utilize CRM software to manage and organize prospective student data effectively.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of student information in the database, including application details, test scores, and communication history.
  • Manage data regarding admissions, enrollment, withdrawals, inquiries, applicants, and attrition. Maintain statistics on a daily basis, to be communicated to the Principal and Director. 

Documentation and Agreements:

  • Secure and track all relevant documentation from parents and other schools for admissions.
  • Prepare and distribute school agreements, contracts, and other relevant documents to enrolled students and their families.
  • Update parent contracts annually and manage communications regarding fee structures and changes.

Administrative Support:

  • Manage the entire admissions process from inquiry to enrollment. 
  • Process student applications and coordinate with relevant stakeholders, including the Principal, Key Stage Coordinators, and teachers.
  • Coordinate admissions testing and interviews. 
  • Communicate admissions decisions to applicants and encourage them to enroll.
  • Ensure timely collection of post-admission feedback from parents.
  • Coordinate and manage the re-enrollment process. 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business Administration, Social Sciences or a related field preferred.
  • Prior experience in admissions, customer service, or administrative roles is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Google and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • English proficiency required. Russian language proficiency preferred.
