Announcement: International Student Research Symposium II

Venue: BGA-BIST Campus, Tbilisi, Georgia, Lisi Lake Area
The British International School of Tbilisi and British-Georgian Academy are proud to present the second International Student Research Symposium!
Calling all high-school students (aged 14+) – we invite you to participate in this exciting event by submitting your interdisciplinary papers. The Symposium will feature panels on various subjects, including:
Humanities
Social Sciences
Applied and Theoretical Sciences
Mathematics and Computing
Creative and Visual Arts
If you have a passion for creative or visual arts, this is your chance to showcase your talent! For creative writing submissions, please upload a project of up to 10 pages single-spaced or 3-6 individual poems on a single topic. For visual arts, we welcome 3-6 pieces of your artistic brilliance. Don’t forget to include an artist’s concept statement discussing the influences on your work instead of an abstract.

Submission Deadline: 1st August, 2023
The Symposium will be conducted in English, and we are thrilled to announce that it will be a hybrid event, featuring both online and in-person sessions. Please note that the format is subject to change, and we will keep you updated with the latest information.
The international selection committee will carefully review all applicants, and the list of accepted speakers will be announced on 15th September, 2023.
Selected applicants will have the opportunity to present their topics in engaging 7-10 minute presentations and will receive well-deserved certificates of participation.
