BIST Students Excel at UCMAS Championship

BIST at UCMAS Championship

BIST School is proud to announce the outstanding achievements of its students at the recent UCMAS National Championship in Mathematical Thinking. Out of the 120 students selected from over 1,500 participants across Georgia, 14 were from BIST.

The BIST students not only participated but also excelled, securing top positions in the competition. Notably, Robert and Charbel were crowned GRAND Champions, while Youhanna and Lekso earned the title of CHAMPION.

Additional notable achievements include:

  • Samuel – 1st Runner Up
  • Laura – 2nd Runner Up
  • Thomas – 3rd Runner Up

BIST’s dedication to fostering mathematical excellence is further evident in its participation in the upcoming UCMAS International Competition in December, which will be held in India. More than 5,000 students from around the globe will be competing, and BIST is excited to have several of its students representing the school.

UCMAS, a renowned mental development program, has been instrumental in enhancing the cognitive abilities of BIST students. Through this program, students develop exceptional mental arithmetic skills and rapid calculation abilities, laying a strong foundation for future academic and professional success.

BIST’s long-standing partnership with UCMAS and its specialized mathematics extracurricular club have played a crucial role in cultivating a thriving mathematical environment within the school.
