Junior Theatre Festival 2025

BIST & BGA Joint theatre troupe has returned from the Junior Theater Festival 2025 in Birmingham with an incredible achievement — winning Best Choreographic Work for their performance of an excerpt from Matilda The Musical Jr!

During the six-day trip, students explored the world of professional theatre: participating in a West End workshop, attending two spectacular productions — Matilda the Musical and Wicked — and performing in front of industry professionals and peers from across Europe.

Alongside their theatrical journey, students enjoyed iconic London landmarks including Madame Tussauds, Marvel Universe 4D, Regent’s Park, Queen Mary’s Gardens, and the Royal Academy of Music Museum.

The troupe is now set to perform Matilda the Musical Jr. locally at Theater Factory 42 on June 11 and 12.
